Why I Started
My Journey
Growing up playing a wide variety of competitive sports taught me an important lesson: the greatest athletes aren’t just the ones who are physically prepared. The real difference is in how they manage their thoughts and emotions when the pressure hits.
Why I Chose This Path
I was surrounded by people who loved sport — from grassroots players to those who made it professionally. No matter the level, I kept hearing the same struggles: “I can’t do it,” “Where’s my motivation gone?” “Why can’t I perform like this in a game anymore?”
When I faced an injury of my own, I realised how much mindset impacts both performance and enjoyment. That’s what led me to train as a Sports and Exercise Psychologist.
Launching Lock-In Performance
I created Lock-In Performance with a simple goal: to help athletes at every level — whether you play for a living or for the love of the game — use the same science-backed mindset strategies that professionals rely on.
What I’ve Seen
Too many talented players let nerves and doubt steal not just their best performances, but also their love for the game. My mission is to change that.
My Approach
As a Sports and Exercise Psychologist in Training (SEPiT), I combine evidence-based tools with practical drills that cut out the jargon. Everything I teach is designed to be simple, actionable, and long-lasting.
