1. Services Provided
Lock-In Performance provides sport and exercise psychology consulting, which may include:
- Psychological assessment
- Performance enhancement techniques
- Mental skills training
- Coping strategies for stress, anxiety, and motivation
- Support during injury recovery
- Well-being and mindset strategies in sport and exercise
These services are designed to help clients achieve their performance and mindset goals. Lock-In Performance does not provide clinical therapy for mental health disorders unless appropriately qualified to do so.
2. Fees & Payment
- Sessions are charged at the agreed rate, payable in advance unless otherwise arranged.
- Payments are made via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations will incur a 50% session fee.
- If Lock-In Performance cancels, an alternative session will be offered at no extra cost.
3. Confidentiality
All information shared in sessions will remain confidential, in line with the BASES Code of Ethics, HCPC Standards, and GDPR. Confidentiality may be broken only if:
- You give written consent.
- There is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
- Disclosure is required by law.
4. Data Protection
Personal data is collected, stored, and processed only for service delivery, in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. You have the right to request, amend, or delete your data at any time.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Engage openly and honestly in sessions.
- Inform us of any changes to your health that may affect your participation.
- Complete agreed exercises or tasks between sessions for best results.
6. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services in writing at any time. If services are ended by Lock-In Performance, alternative support options may be suggested.
7. Liability
Lock-In Performance is fully insured for professional liability.
8. Ethical Standards & Supervision
All work follows the ethical guidelines of BASES and relevant professional bodies. As part of ongoing professional development, Zain Khan is currently in training and undertakes regular supervision with a qualified psychologist. Any discussions in supervision are anonymised to protect client confidentiality.
9. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, both parties will first attempt to resolve it informally. If this is unsuccessful, mediation or alternative dispute resolution may be used.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
